97 metro lsi

My neighbor's 97 metro lsi revs to it's limit when she starts it . I have checked for a stuck throttle cable and I diconnected the throttle position sensor . It will not idle down . She is an elderly lady and i'm trying to get her back on the road . Any Ideas ?

Vacuum Leak? Look for a good sized hose off its nipple.

try unplugging the back box at the rear of the throttle body. thats the idle control setup, could be stuck or sticking
