A red '86 Hyundai Excel 4dr with tinted windows, black rims with a polished lip, and a Local Motion sticker on the back quarter windows. Just like the car from Boyz n the Hood.

Ford Crown Victoria. Flat black on black wheels. Tint the windows. Total budget well under $3k.

Just don't do this:

Though it does fit the "ghetto" part of your description...

I guess somebody needs to explain to this silly white boy why people keep doing that. :D I see a bunch of those on my part of the street, including a Cheetos car, MnM's, that same Superman, and others. Have the rappers run out of ideas, like Party Pimp, or Poppin' n Glockin'? Sorry, Redneck Cadillac is already taken. :p

Old cop cars seem to be the big thing. ...though I'm not seeing near as many 98 Impalas as I used to. The Crown Vic's still seems to be everywhere. Ford may just make a better ride. :D

I hate to suggest an 97' - 01' impreza, but it's a good angry looking car if you want reliability too.
If you want 'gheto' though, just buy any American car from the 70's. There is always one out there for a couple thousand that only needs a little work and should pass inspection without investment.

'62 may be a bit too vintage to be ghetto. I would at least go with a '70's American Hornet, 'Lac, or a modern cop car (the cops by my house still run Ford Crown Victorias)

do u want a scary car? or just not so stable? define ehat you mean by dangerous pls
...for those just now joining us ;) he wants something hip-hop, or rad. Listen to 50 Cent for clues. :p Think Silverado with 42" SuperSwampers and plenty of chrome for back woods rednecks like myself, then shift from Rat to Hammer. Feel me?
Do they still do bass-boat glitter paint? Maybe that on a '97 Impala with 24" rims.
Dunno, that may be stuck in the '80's, so I may need Stryper and Family Force 5 for my music. ;)

Why electric? Something wrong with hydraulic? :P. I still see Crown Vics which are black front and rear, but white in the middle. I dunno if that's an Oreo or a political statement

Your post went through fine btw. Why electric? Guess you haven't driven a car with EPS. My 2005 Malibu had it and it was a white-knuckle experience at anything over 40mph! I won't even RENT a car on vacation if I know it has electric power steering. You just don't f#$k with something that concerns safety - period.
What's wrong with hydraulic/conventional you ask? It's being phased out - that's what's wrong with it! :iceslolan I will always seek conventional power steering for as long as I am able to buy and drive cars. In fact, I might even do a manual rack conversion while I'm at it! PS period is for sissies!
Now, back to the topic - I think we're looking for a dangerous "looking" car, correct?

I see a few of those, but they always blow the $3000 budget unless you go with the old charm. A '69 Camaro wouldn't be bad. Would look silly with 24's though.

I find it funny that you want to "look" like a drug dealer! if you cant find any big 70's boats. try mid-80's caprice-monte-regal-cutlass-grand prix

I haven't a clue what to get in Britain but a Harley, '98. 'Stang, newer Focus or Altima/Maxima, and F150/Titan would be on my short list. Then again, I have little interest in those "silly looking" (imo, see above) gangsta looking cars. A Jeep or mud truck, well equipped, are what I like best.
