grand cherokee stalls right after starting

I have a 98 GC that stalls as soon as I take my foot off the gas pedal. The alternator is good, right now the battery has to be jumped to get the car started. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

First, charge the battery. Any applicable trouble codes? Clean the throttle body and check idle air system, if idle issue, only.

Yeah, a bad battery can cause a lot of odd issues. Post back once you've got a new one in and let us know if the problem persists.

Installed new battery today, I forgot to turn the remote starter off and as soon as I put on the negative battery terminal it started right up. Ihanks for all the help.
