sash clip/window channel guide

In looking for the sash clips/window channel guide/window clip on this forum... I found some part numbers from GM.One is the 22697622 or 22697623, depending on the driver's side or passenger's side door. This is listed as "CLIP," for $27.35. The other part number is 12337848, the ten pack, listed as "GUIDE, REG," for $1.82.

What is the difference between these two? I don't understand the 10 pack because you need to distinguish between which door they are for. Are both sides included? There should be a total of eight in a four door Alero, so why ten? Also, there is a big price difference. Can you really get 10 of the $27.35 parts for $1.82?

Is the $27.35 part just the plastic, or is it the little metal "L" too?

Thanks for the help.

Not sure....if you are talking about the plastic clip that is glued to the window, and attaches to the the regulator, I believe there is only one number, because it fits all four windows(if a four door), and is probably sold as a 10 pack......and they have to be installed the correct way, not backwards...if we are talking guides, those would be different for passenger and driver sides....

No, not the part that is glued to the window. There is a metal bracket that connects to the part that glues to the window, and on that metal bracket is a white plastic clip that guides the window up and down the rail. That is the piece that I'm talking about.

Those part numbers are GM part numbers.

Are you talking about the part that is attached to the regulator cable/plastic ribbon, and slides up/down with the cable/ribbon?

I've been a little confusing in the way I asked the question...

I would like to know the difference in the GM Oldsmobile part numbers 22697622/3 and 12337848.

If anyone has ordered one of these, please let me know what you got.

I think your best bet is to stop into ANY GM parts department, and have them pull up a picture of the door components on the screen......that way you get your number for sure...if it's the plastic part I think it is, shouldn't cost much......
