Used car around 13.5K$

Hi All,
i'm looking to buy a used car around 13.5K$, at the moment i see Hyundai Elantra 2009 or Ford Focus 2010 are the best options.

Any idea which is better?
Any idea if i'm missing any other option?

Between those two I would choose the Focus. Have you given thought to the Mazda3 Hatchback or sedan version. I owned a hatch 5 speed and it was a great car and fun to drive.
