I drive an '04 Ralliart and I was thinking about putting a CAI into her, but the more I read, the more I'm doubting whether it's worth the money. I don't really want to do an SRI because I feel like that's sort of a waste... what about a drop-in filter combined with an exhaust or headers?

Advice and/or opinions would be greatly appreciated.

headers would be the biggest waste of money there.
as far as the best bang for buck, the intake would do it. Cold air or short ram, either one would give you a little bit over the stock intake. Definitely better than just a drop in filter. My shop has made a few custom intakes, I can do one for you if you are interested.
