Vibration when changing lanes on accel

It is a 1999 mecury villager and has new ball joints and axles. Tires are like new and balanced. It just started one day out of nowhere. But under accel and changing lanes to right gettting a vibration. I then changed bad ball joint then axles. Had tires checked said were ok. any possible answer will help.:screwy:

How many miles on vehicle??? Have you checked the wheel bearings?

Have you checked the inner and outer tie rods??? Is the vibration only under accleration or is it when you accelerate and change lanes?? Does it matter if the road is concrete or asphalt??? Have you checked the motor and transmission mounts?? Is the check engine light on, if so have yyou checked for any codes??? There could be some pending codes.

I have checked tierods inner and outer also new motor mounts. I did rotate my tires did seem to help the problem. Under heavy accel and slight turn to right and straight ahead. Almost think inside of tranny but no proof yet.

I'd look at the Tranny. It might be a problem with splitting torque when turning. The inner wheel turning slower than the outer wheel. Have you changed the fluid lately or had work done to it?

I found that when I rotated tires it has changed a little. It seems that it could be a wheel bearing but found nothing wrong when i checked them. Also it vibrates on jack stands also but did not see where it was coming from.

well this is an update to my orignal post of the vibration when vchangiong lanes. Well so far the struts have been replaced the axles and the wheel bearings. I didfind the passenger with play once it was apart for strut. This was a pain but went well. This I thought had t fixeduntil we left for town one day and there it came back. Will let you know if the other side has had any effect but also replaced both axles again. Thats alot of parts and now guess if still there will drive until it breaks.

During a recent trip we had a bad vibration at about 70 mph in my wife's 2001. Had it checked out and both trans mounts were broken completely and the motor mounts were on their way. They said the motor moved four inches when it was revved. That took care of some of it, but on the way home we still had the vibration. Turned out to be a bent rim. We remember the pothole that likely did it.

I posted this weird vibration problem and may have fgound a solution. I had already changed axles but did notice that the edrivers side came apart when changing wheel bearings. This promted me to replace the axle again. But also replaced both wheel bearings on the front. Not to mention the struts which were factory. After it was all done the problem is gone. To my knowledge the wheel bearings had to play a large part inthe problem. Thedrivers side had a rough sound when I went to replace it. I would have figured there to be a lot of play.
