just curious if anyone has ever compared times before and after getting cf hood. i know it's not a HUGE weight diff but anyone ever noticed anything?

considering it takes about 100 lbs less to take off a tenth of a second...the little weigh u save may save u hundreths...but not tenths.

I would argue that it doesn't help your times at all, though I have no proof to back up my claim. The cf hood means that on hard accel, weight will be transferred to the rear more, and therefore you'll get more wheel spin due to less holding the rubber to the pavement. Take some weight out of the trunk area too, and then you might see some time improvements. Of course, I'm still pulling that outta my ass. Mostly logic. =)

yea...that is stretching it too much. that little of a weight difference isn't going to matter at all.
