I want to do a lancer evo with an engine, and so far i havent seen any mitsu kits with engines. So i was wondering which model would be best for using as a lancer engine.
I want to do it with the least amount of putty work as possible.
This was the only decent pic of a clean evo engine i could find, but im looking mostly for an evo5-6 engine. This is one from an evo7.
Also, if you know anyone who's done something like this...throw us a link.
Cheers in advance.

I figure Revell's new eclipse from fast and furious has an engine...maybe that would suffice?

The Tamiya Pajero has an engine which could be used.

I was thinking about the F&F Eclipse before...Im hoping all of Mitsu's engines look about the same...(btw...i dont know engines from $h1t)
The Pajero model would do ok...but what am i gonna do with a whole 4WD model?
Thanks everyone for the advice. Is the F&F Ecplise out yet? If not...anyone know when its gonna be released?
Cheers.

the plastic kit has not been released yet.. you can get the diecast model and yank the engine out of it.. the only thing is it's completly chrome, so you whould need to strip it and re paint it.. as for the engines all eclipse come with a 2.0 liter, 4g63 (except for 2000 + ). im not absulutly possitive about the evo's, but i really think that it has the same engine..

Build the kit without an engine and pretend it's a curbside kit like 90% of the other kits that are out there. :D

I want to make Sky's evo from The Legends of Speed. And i sorta liked the bit where it showed a CG of his bonnet going see through and you could see his engine going flat out. So yeh...
If anyone has built that model, please give me a pic. I want see what the rear lights look like.

The Tamiya Pajero would be your best bet. It uses the same 4G6E engine as the Lancer Evos.

I thought the Tamiya Pajero kits were long since deleted?
