were you able to get the 4 or 6 digit code from the radio? Key on, press and hold presets 2 and 3 for approx 6seconds, this will give you a set of #'s. then press the am/fm button for the next set. if the numbers don't change, them they are the same as the first set of #'s. post these 4 or 6 numbers, I may be able to get your unlock code for you.

Your unlock code is 0335. Key on, press HR and hold till 000 shows, then press HR again till 03 is shown, then press the MIN button till 35 is shown for 0335. Press AM/FM to enter code, display should change to --- then to clock. Good luck!

Just one problem....if he has tried this more than three times, he can't just install the code....
He might need to put a jumper box on the vehicle, if his battery is low.....
You apply ebrake(keeps DRL's off), install box, and turn key just to "on"....now the vehicle has to be left on for an hour, I think(been awhile since I did one this way)......
I think the LOC goes out.....then install the code as posted....then recycle the key....

Correct, techII. You are allowed 3 tries, then the radio goe into INOP mode. The radio must then be left powered for up to an hour before three more tries are allowed. If the radio shows LOC, he can install the code, If it shoes InOP, then above proceedure must be followed.

The code I have been using on the GM 800 number has not worked for a while either. My guess is because of so many dealers closing. If anyone knows any new (working) dealer codes, I am all ears.
