Does anyone know how often you are supposed to have the transmission serviced in Toyota Camry's? (I don't have the owners manual with me right now).
I drive an '02 model Camry (2.4L four-cylinder engine), and am thinking about getting the transmisson serviced the next time I get the oil changed (at 120,000 miles). I've owned this car ever since it had only 58,000 miles, and I have not had the transmission serviced since I've owned it. (I don't know if it's ever been serviced or not).

Here's a maintenance guide:

I change my transmission fluid with a flush every 60,000 miles. How often depends mostly on your driving habits. The more city driving you do, the more often you have to change the fluid.

I take it easy on it when I drive and 95% of the miles are road miles, so I'm probably alright. But I don't think it would hurt to go ahead and service it anyway.

My 2004 Camry does not need to be serviced at all except in severe driving conditions. If you want to service your transmission do drain/refill. There are too many failures reported after a flash.
Good luck,
