Yip, simple question.
I'm drinking a CockBurns Port.
Its just old Australian red wine with some added sugar.........
What I really want is a Highland Park Single Malt.
But I wanted it to much in the past and now there is none left...... :disappoin

Nice!
I had a 36 year old single malt the other day, very nice. But, very different to anything younger.
I wish I could remember what it was called. Was a very small distillery, they used simple water colour panting on the label and box.

Do you remember what region it was from? Sounds like Edradour, a highland whisky, but it could have been an Islay or Speyside malt, which would have tasted different just due to the regional differences (there are 5 scotch regions, 2 of which are not very common).

It wasn't peaty like an Islay, more of a Highland or Speyside flavour.

trying to remember which 36 year olds had a watercolor painting on them. Was it of a snowy mountain by chance? Bruichladdich?

Sounds like you know more about them than I do :smokin:
I seem to remember it had small sail boat on lake, was a very cliche'd scene.
Hopefully the bottle is still where I last tried it, I'll make sure to have a look next time I'm there.

I was curious, as there's not many 36 year old Scotchs. I like a good Scotch, being Scottish and all. ;)

I'm cheap, a good customer of mine brought over 4 30 packs of 5.0 busch light... so I am working on that at the moment. In the kegerator is almost 5 gallons of miller lite though.... just in case the cans run out, which has and does happen.

Now that's a sin. Cuervo 1800 is meant to be sipped and savored like a fine scotch, not mixed with a kids drink.

I love Irish coffee. It's actually a question on the drivers test here.
Question: What happens when you give a drunk person coffee?
a. He sobers up enough to drive.
b. You just have a wide awake drunk.
And if you get the answer wrong the clerk will say "that was pretty close, I'll give you another chance".
Pretty easy to get a drivers license here. On my renewal I just needed to take the written test so I had a few stiff ones, had my brother drive me down and took my drivers license test drunk. The clerk actually noticed and asked me if I drove there. Aced it by the way, even got that tough question right the first time. Must have been the coffee.
