I have a 97 jimmy 4.3 4wd that started running rough and no power. I replaced the plugs and wires map sensor fuel filter distributer and cap and all oxygen sensors it was still running rough then I noticed some bad vac lines I started to replace them and found trans fluid in the vac receiver ball is this the switch on the transfer case causing this and could the trans fluid in the vac lines cause the rough idle? thanks in advance for any help.

Yes on transpher case switch lettig fluid into balll and lines.
But on idle no unless fluid in lines has caused a vacume leak some place.
Replace/repair/clean ball and all vacume lines and replace transfer case switch
On no power.
How is fuel pressure?
Any codes or check engine lights?
Any engine or cylinder miss?
Camshaft retard setting?
Good Oem/AC delco replacement parts?

Thanks for replying and yes I have an engine code PO300 random mutiple missfire so I tuned it up because it had been a long time plugs wires distributer cap and rotor new map sensor it has 4 o2 sensors changed the 3 that where bad my previous post I said 4 should of said has 4 changed the 3 that were bad the truck starts right up and runs but it idles really ruff after you get above 20 mph or so seems to run fine but I get the blinking check engine light which is a misfire correct? fuel pressure is above 60 psi I am lost on this thought for sure I would have corrected it with all I have done any info would be GREATLY APPRECIATED thanks

Did you use AC delco parts?
Any other codes besides missfire?
What is engine running on road fuel pressure?
What is camshaft retard setting at?
Any cylinders missing?
