Fujimi&Revell mash-up Ferrari 599

Well...here we go again!

After a failed attempt some years back (opened doors on Fujimi body and never was able to make it work) I had to make some sort of mash-up of the 2 kits.

Thanks to auw12's comparison post (way back) I decided to take the body and chassis of the Revell kit and add the best Fujimi parts along the way.:naughty:

Then I opened up the side and hood vents some more

Also I drilled out Revell's rearlights to fit Fujimi's parts which are way more realistic

For the rims I have 2 choices, because I hate the Pentagram style 5 spokes

I am afraid that you have left your fingerprint (under primer) on the cam cover... You may see that on the pic with grey primer. The cam covers have pretty rough finished ends - I would correct this.

Now this will be something to watch!

Great start! Be careful of the CM PE, some parts will request extra works to make them fit, and some doesn't fit at all. I think stock wheels would be better for a stock 599, have you considered about the 20" BBS? That's the best choice for the original 599 IMO.
