89 f 150 will not start when hot

89 f 150 starts right up when cold after it is driven and gets hot it is slow turning over and will not start. have replaced starter and solenoid and ground wire new battery never over heated

Sounds kinda like the timing is off.

that is what i was thinking to. but i donot have a timing light to check it so i sent the owner to a shop to have them set the timing . running great now starts every time. but i did tell the owner if it did it again it may need a timing chain.:smokin:
