Hello....would anyone know the caliper pin bolt torque for an 07 Lacrosse/Allure?
It should be around 25 to 30, but an exact number would be nice.
Thank you.

Excellent!!!!!!!! Thank you.
Funny..my Lucerne is 27 lb/ft, but now after completing the job on the Lacrosse, I can see that the pins are different on the two cars.
Thank again and for the fast reply. Job done.

Sure.....Why not? If you are going to do something (anything) may as well do it right. I think I would feel safer with my work, than yours.
And lastly...."What's it to you, anyway?" :flipa::

I agree....if you are working on this for the first time.....take your time, and do it right.....
But if you went into a 100 different shops doing brake work, you'd be hard pressed to find someone that takes out a torque wrench, or takes the time to look up specs......after you've done so many, it's all in the "feel".....
As for safe, I can say I never had a come back on a brake job....but have fixed a lot of other "jobs"......maybe it was because they didn't use a torque wrench?

Definitely not my first brake job...been doing them since cars had drums on the FRONT.
I used to tighten most things by feel also, however over the years breaking a few bolts or putting them so tight they were near impossible to remove, I find the torque wrench makes things easier. Perhaps if I was working in a shop, I wouldn't use a torque wrench either, and perhaps that is why I do all my own work, because I know it will get done right.
