Fitting 305's x4?

for those of you with wider tires, anyone have any trouble or have to do anything special to fit wider 305s on all four corners?

Will this even work?

I have 305's front and 325 rears....front fit with trimming of plastic, less turning radius (install new wheel stops) and proper offset

I think the offset on my wheels is ok. I run an 18x10.5 now with a 295 and had trim the fiberglass a bit as well, so I think I'll be ok... what size wheel stops did you you? where did you source?

Thanks

I run an 18x11 rim for the 305's with a 1/2" wheel spacer

I had my race shop machine aluminum spacers and install them while they were doing a set down on the car. The size needs to be measured just shy of the rim rubbing the brake strut bar.

Any pics of the clearances? I have the wheels/tires on the car and I THINK they will be ok.. pass side it fine, drivers front might need to be "clearanced" some though, how much rear wheel travel is there? I have about 2-2.5" until the tire would rub the rear fender(fiberglass body) if the rear moves higher than that it will def. hit

Both front tires tuck inside the fender when compressing (Drivers front has about 2" between tire and plastic fender edge and passenger front has about 1" clearance). The rear tires (drivers rear about 2.25" and passenger rear has about 3") when resting. I just added custom fender flares all around which make things less accurate. You should get a set they look sweet.

I found some old pics of the fenders.....I'll post some new ones with the sweet new fender flares.

OK...still have some fitment to do with the plastic gasket/trim but they are basically installed. To remove the hood you undo a screw (like the hood screws) and the flares go with the hood. I have not raced with them yet but soon enough..... These are easily reproduced and the fit was pretty good. I might not paint them...cant decide

Would you have the TSW part number? What is the back spacing off set?

Thanks

DISCOUNT tires has them for 256 bucks.

Not sure why the minivan is listed in the URL...but THESE would look awesome on the wifes honda odessy. :runaround:

You do have to have the center hole machined to create the small wider part needed to fit the hub...but machine shop should have no problem.

GMF is gun metal finish...they have another finish on that size as well.
