04 astro pulsating brakes

i turned the rotors and have new pads, im getting code for ebcm relay circuit malfunction from time to time. can that be the cause? it doesnt happen all the time, sometimes it stops fine and then sometimes it pulsates really bad. any suggestions would help. thanks in advance
