I second this petition, those pictures are awesome! too bad they are in low resolution, those kind of pictures/drawings are known as "cutaways", tried to google for mclaren cutaway but no luck, only ferraris and other cars :(

Don't forget about this one:

I can't help with anything better on the first two you've posted. I do have one new one that I suspect most or all here will not have seen. I started to clean it up so it could be shared a while ago but never got through it. I will dedicate some more time to it and put it up when I am finished.

That's the one I am working on. As you can see there's a large gap missing from where the two pages come together and it's not the simplest thing to piece together. I'll get it to the point that I am satisfied eventually.

Something is wrong with one of the assemblies in the picture :uhoh:
What is wrong with the pic and what make of car should the assembly be fitted too?
This would have made a good quiz question, but I,m being lazy

I'll go out on a limb and guess it is the distributor cap and that the spark plug wires should attach to the sides of it and not the top as shown in that drawing. If I get a cookie for this guess I'll be amazed. :cwm27:

I,ll allow you to quickly deleate most of your text, are you sure we are looking at the same pic, try looking closer at the rear suspension assy, then a quick look through DA for an ugly car, the pic on the page is big enough .
BTW, the S70/2 runs coils per plug,

The link you have embeded in your post with the question is that of the Heavenly Twin "Albert" - the first Ultima GTR chassis that featured a large (7.4L maybe) American-sourced V8 engine as it's power plant. No Coil on Plug with that contraption. ;)

I'll go study the other image he posted from the Russian source and see if your clue now makes it obvious. :)

So it appears the connnection point for the upper control arm in the detail of the rear suspension is completely wrong. If you glance towards the area of detail within the car it appears they got it right in there.

Try page 119 and 116 in DA.
This cutaway is probably the first of its type, when only the clinic model and Albert existed.
