1994 Grand Marquis Starter Issues, AGAIN!!!!

OK, me again, I can really use some of your help AGAIN. Same issue as before, replaced the starter a few months back (actually twice because I thought maybe it was the starter), also had battery and alternator checked, they passed. I love this car but is giving me fits, it only starts when it feels like it. Lately I have had to jack it up and tap on the starter with my golf club a few times and then I get luckey and it will start. Bad thing is Im afraid to turn it off when I go places since I dont know if it will start back up. Went good for a few weeks and started everyday, now it seems like it will never start twice in a row. What else could it be? Ignition switch? I have no clue!!!! Can anyone please help me out? if you really think that hitting the starter is making it start then the brushes may be sticking meaning bad starter???what brand starter are you using?
you could have a problem with the solonoid,ign switch,or connections.what have you checked??if/when it wont start ck starter for 12v.

I only tap the starter with my club because someone had mentioned it to me before. The type of starter I have I purchased from Advanced Auto is a "world wide starter". Remanufactured starter. Thats where I probably went wrong. Bare with me, but what do you mean when/if it doesnt start again check for 12v?

you say it starts somes times,when it does'nt start do your tests
try starting in neutral or moving shifter,see if you have 12v at solinoid S terminal
probably not if you replaced twice.
assuming your starter solinoid is mounted on the starter right!!
