Custom steering wheel for a p10.....

Does anyone make an adapter for the steering hub on the p10. I have been looking at MOMO and sparco steering wheels but can't find any that work. Everyone has an adapter for the B13 sentra se-r. Does the sentra and G20 share some of the same steering hub parts? Also, does anyone make a custom wheel for the p10? maybe Nismo?

Any help will be appreciated.

I have one. :D Actually.... mine's modified.... of course. :D:D

The one you want is for the Sentra SE-R (3512 IIRC).

I've modified mine so I can retain the cruise control. I'm getting ready to do the same for my Sentra SE-R. I'll take photos and write it up for my web site when I do.

You won't find any steering wheels made specifically for the G20. But, there are plenty of great wheels available.

So I should order the adapter for the sentra? What kind of wheel do you have? I was looking at the MOMO Tornado or the standard sparco wheel. If I order a wheel and an adapter for the sentra, this will work on the p10 G20? Or do I have to modify the sentra hub adapter?

jus dont get caught with a steering wheel with no air bag if ur cars 93.5 or over. the cops can be dicks about hings like that and get u into some shit

no worries, mine's a 92 and I believe George's is a 91. Even if I had a 93.5 or newer, I would still switch out the wheel, only in that case, I would sell the stock wheel w/ air bag and make a little profit.

That's not true. It is perfectly legal for a car owner to disable their airbag in their car.

Yes, get a Sentra hub adapter. No modifications necessary - unless you want to retain cruise control. If you want to do this, I can give you the information how. It looks complicated, but it's really not. Like I said, I'm about to do this with my SE-R.

I am using a MOMO Runner on both cars. I like the leather center pad for its OEM look. There is another discontinued wheel call the MOMO Speed that also has a center pad, but it uses an exposed horn button and looks a little sportier. It is also a 360mm like the Runner. I like the 360mm wheel because the 350mm wheel blocks part of the view of the instruments.

I just recently came across a Porsche shop with a close-out on the Speed wheel ($250). If I hadn't just purchesed the Runner off eBay for $165, I would have probably bought the Speed.

if u read the new super street, a police officer says if he sees a vin# and it says the car has an air bag and there isnt an air bag in the car the owner will get a ticket that says he has a certian amount of time to put the wheel with an airbag back in. and if it isnt put back in the get fined or somethin. it may be different for every state or somethin

Thanks for the help George. Anyways, I am thinking of retaining the cruise control but I was going to try to put it somewhere else other than the wheel itself. I'll keep you updated on whatever I do with the wheel. Also, refering to the article in super street, the cops in cali are alot more picky than anywhere else. Other than cali, you can pretty much get away with anything as long as you don't drive like a complete jerk.

believe nismo makes an adaptor for the p10 g20. are most steering wheels able to fit the sentra adaptor?

I don't give a rat what Stupid Street says. Federal law allows a car owner to disconnect the airbag. Besides which, how in bloody hell is the cop going to run a VIN and know whether the car came airbag equipped or not. It's total bullshit.
