1997 Cavalier 2.2 Automatic No start & No power to ignition switch

I just replaced my fan motor last night. It started and ran fine. I went out today and it started to crank and all power was lost. The interior lights and horn etc work but when I put the key in it dings like normal but nothing happens when I turn the switch. No radio and no lights on the cluster. I checked all fuses in the panel and under the hood. I removed the cover on the column and replaced the ignition switch with no luck. Any thoughts?
