Like the title says I want some opinions on this 1973 dodge dart Im considering buying. Its a 4 door with the slant six engine. Some rust on the rear lower tire well and front lower part of tire well (the normal stuff.) primer black at the moment and tears in the bench seats as expected. Also the font passenger quarter panel looks like it was backed into. It runs alright and seems mechanically fine. The car can be seen here with some terrible pictures the owner put: http://phoenix.craigslist.org/wvl/cto/2499903824.htmlAnyway to my main question!
Would you pay $1100-1200 for this car? Do you think it has potential? You think another $1000 or so could make it look good? And also its going to be my daily driver so I still want it to look nice, would a nice coat of paint make it look muscley or would it look dumb to put a solid coat of paint with those classic muscle stripes on it? I hope someone understands where im going with this. Just throw out your opinions and any pictures you may have of these cars fixed up. Anything that will help my decision making. Thanks anyone who helps :)

Used to have a 1974 4 dr Dart inherited at 45k from my Dad(It lasted till 1994). It had the 318 V8. Also knew someone that had 1973 4 dr with the Slant 6. Some things that I remember are listed below.
Good:
Visibility, easy access to engine, roomy, good heater even when fan is off(on highway), vent windows, floor vents, Slant 6 highway gas mileage in mid 20s, torquey engines
Bad:
Noisy at highway speeds primarily from air leaks at vent windows, sensitive to crosswinds, ball joints need replacing every 45-50k, floor vent on right can't be reached by driver, water leaks behind dash during heavy rains, Slant 6 acceleration is leisurely, magazines tested them at around 14-16 sec for 0-60
Misc:
Some have drum brakes in front, some have disk brakes in front, recommend the disk brakes, will stop much better.
Need to carry spare ignition ballast resistor with you, they periodically go bad and when they do, engine will crank but won't start.
