Hello community,
it's been quite a while.............
Let me show you the results of my latest efforts, the miniatures of two fantastic and impressive race cars, real brute and loud, just imagine their sounds! Both HIRO kits, the Ferrari 250swb being a challenge which i never had before, the Aston came quite well and was "easier" to built.
Lots of parts scratched, e.g. the chrome rings in the Ferrari cocpit, the ignition plugs of the Aston engine.....by the way, the engine of the DB4 is one of the most impressive ones i've ever built! What a machine! Beautiful. For sure not only the engine, the DB4 Zagato is one of my new favorites, the colour took me some hours to mix until it was satisfying and looked OK in scale.
So here we go.

Wow, Jochen. You leave me speechless again. I love both cars and your models are superb miniatures!
Now I've got to get back to studying the photographs.

Both look increible! What is the black spot on the front quarter quards of the Zagato? It looks like its not on the model & has been added in photoshop or something?

Two fantastic builds.
The weathering looks totally spot-on. But I already noticed you had a good eye for that with your DBR9 previously.
I particularly like the Aston. Great model, great execution. All those small details are just brilliant.

It's a hole (air vent?) that is supposed to be there. Not photoshopped, it is included in model.
