Ok here it is. My wifes car took a dump last year adt the computer crapped out.In doing so it basically gutted its own cats.Dumping unburned fuel in the exhaust. We cleaned the remnants out and drove on with a check engine light till now.I finally checked the obd and it said the egr system had a couple faults but nothing about o2 sensors.I replaced the dpfe valve and the egr purge solenoid and it cleared those codes. Now when driving and you come to a stop light or are just sitting idling it will start to stall and sputter.I pulled 3 codes off of it and they were p2195 p2197 and p2270. All 3 of which have to do with an o2 sensor stuck lean. Bank 1 sensor 1 and 2 and bank 2 sensor 1. I dont have the disposable income to put 3 aftermarket cats on let alone oe from ford.I am wondering if I can use the spark plug non fouler trick.I used it on an older car but am a little nerveous about one this new.By the way the no fouler trick for anybody scratching their heads is take a no fouler and drill the bottom out enough to fit over the o2 sensor and screw the other nf on the end of the setup and put it back in.In theory it takes the sensor out of the stream some and causes it to read lean, causing the computer to compensate by richening the air fuel mixture.Any suggestions? Should I just break into the kids college fund or try the poor mans trick? Thanks for reading and I appreciate any advice

Never mind I figured it out.Just a vacume leak. Sealed it up and now it runs great with no codes

Glad it was a simple fix!

Whats with these modern American cars using so much Vacuum on things?

I thought vacuum to run things was a tend that went away in the 80s.
