Help urgent! Auto transmission malfunction
2004 Getz does not shift gears it Is auto transmission and stalls in reverse? It does not down shift gears when I try to accelerate and feels like it's driving in 5th.
The problem sometimes just goes away and it drives normal. Using the OD switch and the L shift sometimes works to get it in a Lower gear.
The car has recently been through water/mud which I thought blocked the transmission or maybe messed up the electronics.
Help please, the car is our only form or transport.
