I can't seem to pinpoint the location of the blinker relay. Is it in the duct work? I have the panel below the dash removed but can't seem to locate it. Does anyone know? Thanks.

I have been listening with the blinker on. It thunks and sounds like it is either above the steering wheel or in the middle behind the duct work--or inside of it. Have reached all around, but have not been able to put my hand on it yet.

Found it! Used a stethascope. It is a black box instead of a round relay. None of the auto parts stores can get it or even order it. I replaced all of the bulbs and it began blinking, but it is slow to start and inconsistent. The left blinks fine, but on the right, the lights come on and do not want to blink normally. The emergency flashers will work now, but did not before on the right.

Just replaced the blinker relay. It was $59 for the part. It took about an hour and a half to replace. It was like trying to get the queen bee out of a bee hive. It was way up buried in the dash. I tried to access it by pulling the cluster gauges out and that didn't work. I unbolted the lower part of the dash and it could not be reached still because of duct work in the way. Finally got to it from underneath, but had to cut a lot of plastic out of the way with tin snips first. There is another "black box" with a lot of wiring in the way. It sits above it, out of sight. I snapped the new one in the wiring harness and left it hanging to where it could be accessed. Seems to be working fine now. I then put the dash back together. It was an overall unpleasant experience- very frustrating.

But still you did it. Good work.
