Hi. I found my recent project that I haven't posted here on AF. This is a 7th generation Toyota Celica kitted by Tamiya.
I built it box-stock with extensive detailing and detail painting. I focused on building this as clean as possible, with some touches to make it more realistic. This time, too, I did everything to make my little Calica look similar to the actual one. I used automotive touch up paint for the body.
Here're some pictures.

Fully weathered chassis.

I "yellowed" the headlight cover and it turned out great.

PA specific window stickers and license plates were prepared for the car. You can see some goodies that I added through the large windshield glass.
It was a very straight forward project with precise fitting and clean parts that Tamiya had prepared for us. I wanted to see how far I can go with a basic kit like this with detail painting and addition of detailing up goodies. I think my Japanese modeling buddies too can understand what I've done to this thing. hahaha
I am very satisfied with the way it came out ;)
Thanks for looking,
Yoshi

Thank you :)
Everything went smooth on a kit like this. Good molds, good fittings.

Another great build from you.
And also with this build I'm hugely impressed with the paintjob. And of course those great little details in the interior.
The weathering on the underside looks very realistic, making the body almost look too clean, actually.
Great stuff.

Thanks, guys!
Haha, DerXL, I know what you mean. Say, this car has just received a car wash. I consider adding a scratch or two on the bumpers if I'm building something similar to this again.
Thank you!

Interior is superb, but would love to see a better shine on the bodywork, have you tried 2Kclearcoat?
