Monogram corvette 1/8 Doug Bergen

:bigthumb:I am planning to build the Corvette 8-Ball from Doug Bergen, the car raced in the A class of the SCCA in 1967, the driver was Bob Johnson.
The car is almost stock, with American Mag wheels and side pipes, painted black with yellow striping, and recently completely restored and sold for an astronomic price in an auction.

The base for this project is the Monogram/Revell Corvette '65 in 1/8 scale.

I have two problems, the first...after some googling i find enough pics
of the exterior of the car, but guess practically no interior pics.
The second...the tires, there is a transkit from a German company M Tech, that includes the wheels, the decals and some other stuff, but they use the standard tires from the kit and they are to narrow for the car.

That's why i like to ask the community...is there somebody who can give my some suggestions to solve my problems (pics of the car and tires)
where i can find or buy them.

Is there anyone who knows the size of the tires of this car?
It's a production A class SCCA car, it seems that i can't find it anywhere.
But i think that the tires of '78 or '82 corvettes of Monogram will do fine,
maybe that some one have a set somewhere in a lost drew, please give me a sign
