Stupid power seat

So my switch is working i think because i can hear the motor going and there is this (click click click) sound for as long as i hold the button? any ideas? it still goes up and down and tilts front and back, no problems with the passenger seat. my friend told me it might be a wire to the side airbags stuck in the track or something cause my airbag light is blinking on the dash
