I have a 2000 SSei Bonneville that is having major problems. The drivers door is the only one that power going to it. The other 3 doors, windows wont let down nor do to locks work. Not even the radio works. Also has water leaking and sitting behind the drivers door. I love this car and was wondering if anyone can lend so advice.

Thank you

I sounds like you are having issues with the sunroof drains... This is a common problem with the 00+ Bonnevilles... As for the other doors not functioning, its possible that you may have a bad ground under the area of the drivers seat in the wiring harness..

As far as the drains go, whats the best way to clean them out?

Not sure that they are plugged... You may have a line disconnected on the inside of the car... The sunroof should drain ahead of the drivers door... There is a good bit to take apart to get to the drains from end to end... Not fun but can be fixed...

There are drains in all four corners of the sunroof......but if they are plugged or the tube has come off, usually the headliner gets wet....

Easy to check drains, using a funnel slowly pour water into it at the left front corner.....should see water come out behind the left front wheel well....do the same to the left rear corner.......should come out in the left rear wheel well....should flow rather quickly.....

One thing I would do is, remove the plastic trim at the bottom of the door opening so you can lift the carpet....if it is wet under the carpet, big problem...check the passenger side too.....

If the drains were ok, it's possible the front driver or rear passenger doors could be leaking....each door has a water barrier...if the seal is not intact, when it rains or the car is washed, water comes through the door and goes over the sill and under the carpet.....this is a problem when work is done on a door....the barrier has to be removed, and sometimes when installed the seal is not complete...

If the carpet is soaked, the driver's seat has to be removed, the rear lower seat pad removed and the carpet pulled up....the car should have the water vacuumed out, and a fan should be placed in there to dry out the underside of the carpet.....otherwise a mold smell will become evident.....With the seat out and the carpet pulled up, sit in the vehicle and have someone wet down the car thoroughly and look for a possible leak.....could be the sunroof drains, the water barriers in the doors, a joint problem under neath the front or rear winsdhields, etc.

If the floor is wet, as previously mentioned, grounds under the carpet could be corroded and cause electrical problems....

Just for ha-ha's, make sure the lockout button is not pushed on the master switch...it kills the other three windows....
