Shop Manuals

Hey. I've been searching forever and I can't find a simple way to obtain vehicle shop manuals on my computer. I understand these aren't typically free but I am trying to avoid spending money on a manual I may only need a couple times. Anyone know how to obtain such manuals with relative ease? I appreciate any feedback.
