2000 k3500 door hinge bushings

I hoping someone on here can help me. I am replacing the drivers side front door, door hinge bushings on my 2000 k3500 and cannot find the replacement needed and am totally confused. However I will clear up a few things.

1) hinges, bushings pins are original
2) the bushings are worn on the inside and not the outside (no egge shape)
3)the bushings,hinges etc.. are same on the passenger front as well.

I say these things because these are all things I've heard as reasons for not fitting but not in my case. :banghead:

I went and bought OEM bushings the diameter is too big they told me to beat them in the hole, but that would be like hammering a baseball in a keyhole (not gonna happen.) I looked it up myself and the bushings they gave me is correct but not for my truck. I am hoping someone has run into this problem and can give me a clue of what to do. By the way replacing the hinges in not an option for me right now, 10 dollar bushings however is right up my alley. So help would be great I am really tired of running to auto parts stores and not getting what will fit.

Are you using Dorman auto parts from the local auto parts store to rebuild you
hinges?
