1994 E 420 V8 4.2 Mercedes Benz Check Eng. Light

I have had this vehicle for sometime now. No problems, until recently; The check engine light came on. I had it analysed and the code is P1131. Does anyone know the meaning/analysis of this code? Thanks Trevor
