Exteror Lights Stay ON

Went out to my '96 Caravan this AM unlocked and opened the drivers door and the warning chime came on. Checked the switches and all were off, started car and drove off. parked to do some errands, opened drivers door and the warning chime came on, then as I walked in front of the car I noticed the headlights were on, walked behind and tail lights were on. Did some shopping and came out and all lights were off, opened drivers door and warning chime came on, drove home shut her off, opened drivers door and again warning chime sounded. Tried disconnecting battery for a reboot but no luck. I suspect a malfunctioning headlight switch but at least the light timer or ASR relay are working. Anyone have this problem and resolved it?
