on a trip home to ga from s.c after driving about 130 miles my bravada died. It took about 2-3 minutes of trying to get it started. It ran for about 7 minutes then died again. each time it died, it took 2-3 minutes to restart and only ran for about 7-10 miutes. the check engine light was already on due to an o2 sensor that was previously replaced. Sometimes it struggled to pull after getting started. I managed to get it to a garage and replaced the fuel filter. The filter seems to be fine. so we checked the codes and found a code for random misfire. the cap, rotor and wires were replaced and codes cleared. i was able to drive about 110 miles again before it died again. no check engine light came on. i got it started and made it about 30 minutes before it died again. Eventually i got it home. im open to suggestions.

A plugged catalytic converter can choke out a car without codes, or have random misfires.
Have a local muffler shop do a back pressure test if oK, than check the fuel pressure.

Both a back pressure test on cats + fuel pressure test can rule them out.
How old is the battery ?, because we want to rule that too.
