misshifting

what are misshifing and how much damange does it do to your car. what can u do to prevent it.

Even professional race drivers will miss a shift sometimes (in road racing anyway). A good way to destroy a perfectly good motor! But missing a shift while on the way to the corner grocery store is just plain stupid.

Mis-shifting is when you miss a gear, go into the wrong gear, or even grind a gear. If you do it often enough your screwed. Once in a blue moon and you sould be okay. Go borrow a friends standard car, and learn on that before you mess up the RSX. :p
