advice on 2000 eclipse amplifier replacement

My amplifier got wet. can it be repaired? Assuming I had to replace it, I looked on ebay.. replacement number MR400692... mostly they are
$ 150-$ 200. Then, I see one MR158402.. which dynamically appears to be same thing.. sampe plug-in specs. MUCH Cheaper .. starting bid
$ 30.. My take is that it is maybe from an earlier model..but it looks the same. My tendency is to buy that one. What advice does anyone have??? :confused:
