Scale Auto Review.. This one is the new Fujimi kits.... its typical fujimi.... Simplified yet goes together flawlessly... The body was tricky in the final stages of the build but once in place looks and fits well. I think the front tires could use a lowering job but since I had to build it OOB it will have to do... This one was painted with Scale finishes Giallo and then coated with HOK Sunrise Pearl from Scalefinishes to try to simulate the Giallo Pearl paint that is a 11,000 dollar option on the real car.... The clear is 2 part Omni.... I even washed the panel lines on this one!!! :)
Thanks for looking....

Nice job! It does seem to ride a little high.
$11K? Where you'd get that figure? The guys on Ferrarichat have said $25k (at least for the tri-coat Rosso Fuoco).

Nicely done..
I am currently working on the Revell version of this car. I am going with TS-16 and a CF stripe down the center to break it up...:)

The engine looks exquisite - well done! The rest is excellent too.
I had one of these go past me at speed on Sunday while I was out cycling. Gave me a huge fright, which instantly turned to ecstasy as it disappeared up the next hill. I can't believe something that loud can sound that good - it's like heavy metal on wheels.

Looks great :sunglasse I haven't seen a 458 in any of the triple layer "Lambo" paint  but I imagine it looks great. It should...the triple layer paintjobs are more like $28K, having the roof painted a second color is "only" about $11K. Ferrari and Porsche...masters of crazy option prices.
Glad I built a Fujimi 458 last summer and replaced the wheels; now I have some Fujimi wheels for the far better Revell kit. Regardless of design inferiority, the Fujimi kit does look great when finished. It's just crazy that Fujimi's wheels are too big, and Revell's are too small. Typical
