I am dealing with an issue with my 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix SE N/A 3.8.
Recently I noticed squeeking noice from the front of the car, I located the problem to be my shot bushings. Decided to replace the entire control arm on both sides.
As I was working on it, I could not get the old ball joint to come off since the nut and bolt from the ball joint just keeps spinning.
Any imput would be greatly apreciated. thanks.

Since you're replacing the control arm and don't have to worry about damaging the b/jnt or the boot, get a pickle fork and wedge the ball joint until you get the nut off. If that doesn't keep if from turning, you're going to have to cut the nut off.
