Of all the times to encounter a fly I encountered one spray painting!
I was clearing my 65 GTO it was painted metallic blue. and then after finishing My good paint job, I check all around the body.

I see on the passenger side A FLY !!!

I've taken it out. funny, it died because the clear melted it :lol2:

After the clear dries I'm gonna sand it down a bit, since I've rubbed through the paint taking out that fly.

Just wanted to share my luck. :D

You're unlucky? Let's see.... Diablo body fell off the stand because of the wind, sudden gust of wind kicked up dirt under my Silvia's clear coat, a piece of God-knows-what fell on one of the bodies a short while after spraying my Suzuki bike. Aww well... try harder next time I guess.

You were pretty unlucky too :p

You aint seen nothin' till you've dropped a freshly painted body into a pan full of kitty litter....yes, kitty litter. What a mess.

i finished my integra yesterday and admired the shine under the sun (natural light) for no more than 3min before i had to run an errand. here's a tip... don't leave your model in the sun!!! came back 30min later and the paint bubbled up in areas where bodywork was done! apparantly, air may get trapped in the seams where the parts meet. when the sun raises the temp of the gas and you have a fully cured lacquer paint job over any gas exit, you'll get some nasty bubbles! trust me, i've learned my lesson... and that makes a current total of 3 times painting the body.... so don't feel too bad... i just can't belive that i happened to me... the windshield was on, the headlights and tailights were on... the joys of painting car bodies...
