Hello i have a 94 astro van Cambridge edition and i noticed today that there is transmission fluid leaking, but its leaking up front somewhere i dont know exactly where it could be coming from any ideas on where it would be leaking from? any help would be appreciated.

Second how do i go about changing out the front speakers. Do i have to remove the whole dash or do the speaker covers just pop up somehow.

I imagine to get to your front speakers you will have to pull the dash. Not fun. As far as your tranny fluid leak, is it leaking at the front of the tranny or at the front of the van? You may have a leak at the radiator. Check the to fittings on the drivers side of the radiator. You may need to pull the air box and upper radiator shroud to see them. Hope that helps ya!

Its leaking from the front of the van, thanks i will take a look at the fittings possible that one of the fittings got loose or do they have seals?

As i recall they are simply a flare fitting. I have had my radiator in and out several times and I have never replaced a seal at the trans line fittings. I do recall that the bottom one is a royal pain to get to. I found it is simpler to pull the upper AND lower fan shrouds to get the radiator loose so I can get to the fitting easier. If it's your top one then you shouldn't have any troubles. Best of luck to ya!
