Liquid nails works better instead of duct tape!
If the mirror glass is broken, a replacement can be found at the local Auto parts store.

The heavy duty construction adhesive at Home Depot works pretty good, just do not get it on your hands, because it will not come off. It has to wear off and that takes about a week. That stuff hardens up almost like steel, but it does take like 24 hrs to harden, so maybe adhesive, then duct tape for 24 hours or more so it can harden up nice. Then you're sporting!

Just as long as you don't want to get the panel off again in the future.....
The new plastic clips cost less than liquid nails anyway

It also works great for other exterior parts that are made of plastic.

Cheap 2 part epoxy works as well.
I've used it in the past to fix up a broken air take and even a radiator header tank.

It seems like differnet types of plastics require different types of glues, and I noticed that liquid nails doen't care.

True, but Epoxy will stick to anything as well.
At least liquid nails will work better than metal nails.......
