97 4.0 cylinder numbering

I need to know where cylindar 3 and 5 are. Would that be firewall and middle of the drivers side? Anyone know where I can find a diagram? When I was in the shop and the truck was running bad, they said 3 and 5 had compression leaks. I want to stay ahead of it now and change those plugs. 97 Ranger 4x4 4.0 v6 automatic.

According to my Chilton's, the cylinder layout on the driver's side facing front is 6-5-4, (6 is at the firewall), and passenger side is 3-2-1 (3 at the firewall). Firing order is 1-4-2-5-3-6.
