Hi, wondering if anyone has run into a problem with the buttons on the lift gate handle and the interior not working. The key fob opens the automatic lift gate fine, but the buttons on the the handle and the rear interior don't. Checked fuses, and made sure none of the buttons are stuck. Any other ideas?

Have you contacted your local dealership regarding this concern? I would be happy to look into this for you as well. In order to do some further research, I will need the VIN for the vehcile. Please feel free to contact me via private message as well. Thank you in advance.

check and see if you have power and a ground at the switch and motor. also check to see if the plug on the motor and switch is not lose. just mite be as simple as replaceing the switch or finding out why the power is not there.

It's actually a friend of mine's, and I haven't seen it, but the motor seems to be working fine as it works with the key fob. I told them to try resetting the bcm by either disconnecting the battery or pulling the bcm fuse, we'll see if that helps. They're about an hour away from me, so it'll probably be awhile before I see it.

And I mentioned to them to try the dealer, but I think it's out of warranty, and if the resetting doesn't work, I'll mention to them about looking for power at the switches that don't work, thanks for the ideas.

We know the motor is fine because it works with the key fob. Is the switch in the front overhead console turned off accidentally?

Yeah, that's my theory too. I told them to check that switch yesterday, but haven't heard back whether or not they did.
