I have a 2005 pacifica awd 3.5 dash lights go dim radio speakers crackles with radio off abs light comes on have codes in transmission for battery voltage low and abs code for battery out of range checked charging system seems ok, charging at 14.2v. seems to happen intermittently has had 2 new battery checked battery cables also look ok. Any help is really appreciated.

Update seems to be that there was a 2 volt drop between battery cable and terminal. Pcm would notice the difference and ramp up the volatge field on alternator causing weird problems. Ended up replacing the engine harness and that took care of problems.
