Input on new car choice...

Hi! I'm getting ready to get a new car and I am looking for some expert opinions about what car I should choose.

Okay, a little bit about me:
I'm an 18 year old female. I'm starting college this fall about an hour away from my hometown. I'm probably going to come home once a month or so. I need a car with a fair storage capacity since I'm going to have to take my things back and forth twice a year at least. I'd like something kind of sporty and not Girly or small. I'm nearly 6 feet tall and my current car (Volvo 960) just doesn't have enough room for me. I feel like I'm in a clown car. Lol. My budget is under 20,000 and I'm looking for a used car. Please give me your input! Thanks!!

Check out pretty much any Subaru. They still get good gas mileage, and the wagon models have a TON of room. My Forester definitely helped to move me from Pittsburgh, PA to Nashville, TN (even if it did take a few years and countless trips LOL)
