Just had the Check Engine light come on with my 2004 aveo sedan. Anyone know where the diag connector is located? Also on my previous car, a Bonneville, I could jumper a couple of pins in the connector and turn the ignition switch to on, and the Service Engine Soon light would blink the codes for you. Is this possible on the 04 Aveo? If so, which connector pins and anyone know where I could find a list of the codes for it? Thanks!

I think every car after 96 had to be OBDII compliant. That means there is a port located under your steering wheel that you can hook up a scanner to. There is no more jumping pins on this setup. You can take it to Autozone and they will scan it for free for you.
