finished this up, Sterling Marlin's 1988 Oldsmobile, used excellent powerslide decals, and added some weathering.
I put the antenna on the top corner of the rear window, I think that's where they were back in the day.

AAAHHHH, a used one!!

VERY NICE, showing off the action and roughness of a race.
And therefore a REAL MODEL of a REAL RACER.

Superb weathering, that's what it's all about.
If only more modelers would realize that a subtle weathering job brings so much more life in a miniature and "makes plastic cars telling stories".
From my point of view these NASCAR / Winston cup / Oval - racers are VERY capable and a perfect choice for a treatment like this. The races of this series seem to be hard, loud, FAST, rough and brute. And so has to look the car.
