I have a 1996 Lumina 3.1. It wouldn't start for more than three weeks. It would turn over/crank, but would not start. I replaced spark plugs, intake plenum gasket, and made sure fuel pump worked and had fuel in the tank. It was getting gas to the fuel pressure tester, but seemed like it wasn't getting gas thru the injectors. Yesterday I replaced the crank sensor and viola ... it started, idled, and I drove it up and down my drive way. This morning, went to start it up......and the same darn thing.... just cranks but does not start? Any help/suggestions would be welcomed and greatly apprieciated. I am by no means a mechanic, nor do I pretend to be. Everything I done to my car was from what other people had told me, or from the countless hours of research on the internet. Thanks in advance for any help whatsoever.

Welcome to AF. See if it starts with a spray of starting fluid, any spark or injector pulse?, basic diagnostics for this condition.

when it doesn't start, check your fuel pressure with KOEO - and if it's less than 30psi, this is a good place to start...
if you have fuel, I would say it's your ign module and/or coil packs...

I'd be looking at my CKP sensor wiring and terminals real close...if it started up after replacing, then crapped again, it may be that it was actually a wiring/contact issue there that you temporarily changed when you played with the pigtail to it while replacing the sensor. Follow the wiring around and make sure it's not burning or rubbing on anything, terminals aren't pushed outta place in the plug, etc.
